Dylan Fox - Vocals
Dylan Fox is an American vocalist from Eagleville Tennessee, and lead vocalist of FOXX. Dylan picked up singing when he was around 12 and started getting serious around 15. Dylan was originally inspired by his dad Phil Fox, getting him into more glam/hair metal bands like Motley Crue, Sebastian Bach, Queensrÿche, and Steelheart going into more heavy stuff like Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio and Iron Maiden.
Another inspiration of Dylan's was the movie "RockStar" giving him the confidence he needed to get out there and be the best entertainer he can possibly be. Dylan gets most of his rooted vocal inspiration from Miljenko Matijevic, Sebastian Bach, Geoff Tate, and later got inspired by heavier bands like Knocked Loose, Lamb of God, Gojira, Kublai Khan, Chelsea Grin, Tool, and Animals As Leaders. When it comes to making vocals to just singing in general, Dylan likes to have a broad horizon of talents ranging from screaming highs to melodic melodies, to even having to squeeze lemons in his eyes to get the scorching highs screams that sound like demons emerging from hell. On the soft side of things Dylans heart and soul can shine through the darkness of which they portray to others from his soft vocal covers to his acoustic licks. Dylan plans to portray FOXX as a neutral high energy, emotional roller coaster party vibe and bring everyone together to enjoy music for what it is while making you think deeply about what the stories/meaning is behind each song. They say once upon a time the infamous Fox snuck into his room, bit his neck, and now has the power to scream like a dying child.
Everardo Alcala - Guitar
Everardo Alcala is a Mexican-American guitarist from Middle Tennessee, and lead guitarist in heavy metal band FOXX. Alcala picked up the guitar in February of 2016 being inspired by the early rock bands of the 1970’s. In the early days of playing guitar his inspirations were Jimmy Page, Ace Frehley, Eric Clapton, and Jimi Hendrix. It wasn’t until two years later he would get into heavy metal and begin his god like shred journey. Notable inspirations from this era were Mick Mars, Slash, Kirk Hammett, and C.C. Deville. He later went on to discover heavier sub genres of metal and is heavily inspired by bands such as Testament, Forbidden, Morbid Angel, Death, and Mercyful Fate. Although he enjoys the heavier genre's of guitar playing he also takes inspiration from shoegaze and indie rock pop. Some of his favorite artist being Superheaven, Landon Cube, LSD and the Search for God, Alfie Templeman, among others.
Currently his biggest inspirations for guitar playing are Chuck Schuldiner, Alex Skolneck, Vito Bratta, Dimebag Darrell, Muhammed Suiçmez, and Randy Rhoads. He hopes to deliver crushing riffs while maintaining a catchy and uptempo feel. When it comes to lead playing he takes the simple melodic approach before adding a plethora of advanced techniques to add flavor to his playing. Everardo has been rumored to have a 12 inch bratwurst like appendage that he often keeps hidden with his guitar on stage. Although he may seem like an alien from another planet with his guitar playing on stage, off stage he’s a simple kind hearted individual.
"Durag" Luke Patterson - Bass
Luke Patterson, or sometimes referred to as “Durag”, is an American bass player for the band FØXX. Born in La Vergne Tennessee, Luke originally wanted to be a guitar player, taking interest from artists like Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, and Ted Nugent. Luke has always been interested in being a bass player but was torn on which he wanted to do. What solidified him of switching to bass was watching old videos of Motörhead and seeing Lemmy Kilmister. After that, he got heavily into bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Ozzy Osborne, and Metallica. Some of his biggest influences are Steve harris, Lemmy, Justin Chancellor, Jason Newsted, Cliff Burton, Nolly Getgood and Geddy Lee. Coming from a heavy thrash influence, he discovered other sub genres like Metalcore, death metal, and doom.
Although being influenced by heavier music, Luke tries to to add some melodic elements to the music. Bands like Tool and Periphery have helped shape his overall playing style along with his songwriting. He tries deliver the low end and also finds his way in the song to make the bass have some flavor to it. He fills out the empty spaces while also giving the other instruments the space to shine. Whenever there is a full moon at 3 am, you can summon the Rag and he will challenge you to a roman candle battle and if you win you get his durag. Even though he might look scary by doing his backbreaking headbang's, he is a nice chill guy off stage and would love to have a conversation.
Ben "Pyro" Connell - Guitar
Ben "Pyro" Connell, is a guitar virtuoso and the lead/Rhythm guitarist for the band FØXX. hailing from Dousman, Wisconsin, he embarked on a remarkable musical journey that speaks to his unwavering passion and commitment. His earliest memories involve fervently banging on pots and pans, his youthful spirit ignited by the electrifying tunes of Ozzy Osbourne. However, it was at the age of 14 that he stumbled upon his true calling – the guitar. From that pivotal moment, he dedicated himself to the instrument, spending each day mastering its intricacies and immersing himself in a diverse range of songs. His musical evolution led him from the iconic melodies of Ozzy and Guns N' Roses to the thunderous soundscapes of Pantera and the unapologetic intensity of Lamb of God.
Before the pandemic's arrival, Ben was a regular at local Milwaukee hardcore shows, where he fell in love with the genre's relentless energy and unabashed spirit. These experiences left an indelible mark on his musical identity, infusing his performances with a unique and electrifying energy. Before his senior year of high school, he took a significant step into the music scene by joining his first band, Sinister Horizon. Together, they blazed a trail across Wisconsin and Illinois, performing countless shows. However, driven by an insatiable desire for more, he knew that his path would ultimately lead him to Nashville, the epicenter of the music industry. In 2022, at the age of 21, Ben Connell made the pivotal move to Tennessee, embarking on a new chapter in his musical story. Just a year later, he solidified his commitment to the world of music by joining FØXX, further stoking the anticipation of fans eager to experience the relentless rhythms and blistering solos of "Pyro."
